OVERVIEW
Ts. Dr. Mohamed Ali Saip holds a first degree in Information Technology (with Honors) from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia in 1998 and received a Master of Science (Computer Science) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2000. He read for his PhD. in the University of Bradford, UK. He qualified as a Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) by Software Testing Qualification Board. He joined Universiti Utara Malaysia in 1998 as a tutor before being promoted as a lecturer in 2000. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia. Dr. Mohamed Ali has seconded as an exchange lecturer for a collaboration program between Universiti Utara Malaysia and University of Science and Technology in Yemen for 3 years. He led an examination department at the International College of University Science and Technology, Yemen as well as engaging with students’ outreached activities. His research interests include e-government, big social data analytics, sentiment analysis, and social network analysis. He conducted a research with British local government in analyzing the citizens’ needs and expectations towards government services. He is recognized by the Malaysian Board of Technology (MBOT) as a Professional Technologists. He is also a member of Internet Society.
