Working with Universiti Utara Malaysia(UUM) as a Lecturer in College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) since year 1998. Before joining UUM, I worked as a customer service engineer with a private company in Kuala Lumpur. My duty is more on setting up new network application for most of government hospital in Malaysia. After joined UUM, the task is totally different, Teaches more than ten subjects since year 2000. Among the subjects are, computer networking, information system management, system analysis and design, organization system computer, project management and etc.
For the research, more than eight researches in different areas has been carried out especially in rural area and ICT application, electronic government application and computer networking. Other area of research are related to Community Broadband Centre (CBC) and Community Broadband Library (CBL) for Malaysian Government. My research interest is more on bridging digital divide between rural and urban, ICT application in government sector and application of grid and also cloud computing.
At this moment, I still continue my PHD research in the area of business intelligent focusing for higher learning institution in Malaysia.
