OVERVIEW
Yuhanis Yusof is a senior lecturer in the School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Computer Science from Cardiff University, UK. She also holds a MSc degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia and Bachelor of Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Her research interest is broadly in data analysis and management for large scale computing. This includes data mining (discovering patterns of interest from data), data warehousing, information retrieval and optimization. Currently, she is involved in several research projects involving Data Mining, Machine Learning and Swarm Computing (in particular the Artificial Bee Colony, Firefly algorithm, Bat Algorithm and Grey Wolf Optimizer). Her work has been applied in various domain including business management, finance, transportation, education, networking and medical. The undertaken work is supported by various schemes including the Fundamental Research Grant, Exploratory Research Grant, Knowledge Transfer Programme, Take-Off Innovation Programme and Universiti Grant.
