OVERVIEW
Nor Azam ABDUL-RAZAK is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics & Agribusiness, School of Economics, Finance & Banking (SEFB), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and the Coordinator for the Postgraduate Studies in Economics in UUM. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA, in 2006. He served as the Coordinator for the Undergraduate Studies in Economics in UUM in 2009, the Head of the Department of Economics & Agribusiness in UUM in 2014, and the Deputy Director of the Institute of Quality Management, UUM, in 2017-2018. His research interest revolves around the issues of economic development and growth, income inequality and poverty, and consumption and saving. He has presented (and published) papers in various national and international conferences (and journals). He has taught macroeconomics, mathematics, and econometrics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
