OVERVIEW
Dr. Roslan Jamaludin currently is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He earned his PhD. in Product Design and Manufacturing from Loughborough University, UK and BSc. (Hons.) in Engineering Product Design from University of Central England in Birmingham, UK . His research interests are Sustainability, Innovation, New Product Development (NPD), Manufacturing and Total Quality Management (TQM). He has 10 years of industrial experiences in manufacturing, electronics and construction at local and multinational companies; and more than 15 years of teaching locally and abroad. He teaches Innovation, Design and Product Development; Production Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, TQM, Technology Management, ICT, Research Methods and Academic Writing. He lead and also member in researches funded by UUM and the government in areas such as quality, manufacturing, education and IT. He has published papers in journals and conference proceedings and member of editorial board and reviewer for local and international journals and conferences; and supervising and also examiner for postgraduate students. He has hold various management and administration posts both at UUM and the Ministry of Higher Education. He is currently the Head of Community Innovation Laboratary - a CoE at STML, involving in research, training, and consultation focusing in creating a technologically and economically progressive, innovative and sustainable community with the support from the industry and NGOs.
