She is a Lecturer at the School of Accountancy, College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM COB). She obtained her MSc. (Internal Auditing and Management) from City University, London in 1997 and a Bachelor Degree of Accounting (Hons.) from UUM in 1995. She commenced her duties at UUM as a Tutor in October 1995 and was appointed as a Lecturer in 1997. She has been an associate member of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA - Malaysia)since 2013. She has been teaching internal and external auditing courses as well as accounting information systems courses.
