Nor Azila Mohd Noor holds the position of Professor of Marketing at the School of Business Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). In 2005, she was awarded a doctoral degree in marketing from the Universiti of Sains Malaysia (USM), and she has been working at UUM since 1995. She attended the University of Stirling in Scotland in order to earn a Master of Science degree in marketing. Nor Azila is a member of several professional bodies, including the Malaysian Institute of Marketing (IMM), the Asian Academy of Management (AAM), the Malaysian Consumer and Family Economy Association (MACFEA), Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and the Chartered Institute of Management (UK).
Her main area of specialization are in the area of consumer behaviour, relationship marketing, customer relationship management, sales management, and green marketing. Nor Azila has co-authored several books published by publishers such as UUM Press, Lambert Academic Publishing, in Germany, New Delhi Research India Publications, Prentice Hall as well as Springer. Nor Azila is a member of the editorial boards for several journals, including the Malaysian Management Journal, International Journal of Management, Finance, & Accounting, Pertanika, the International Journal of Business Management & Accounting, and the International Asia Pacific Journal of Social Science. Nor Azila has successfully supervised many graduate students in her area of specialization. Nor Azila has also served as a visiting scholar or professor at Universitas Negeri Padang, Universitas Sriwijaya Palembang, University of Technology, Phnom Penh, Cambodia and AeU University.
