OVERVIEW
I did my first degree at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), majoring in history and civilization and minoring in Islamic Revealed Knowledge (BHSc. History and Civilization (Honours)). Then I did my Master Degree in Contemporary International Studies (MA in Contemporary International Studies)at University of Hull, United Kingdom. For now, I am furthering my PhD at University Utara Malaysia on topic of Emergency in Malaya 1948-1960. Basically I am a historian and at the same time have a deep interest in conservation of heritage and historical building. My research interest cover not only history and heritage conservation but also Emergency, nationhood studies, Malaysian politics and History. Until now I lead 2 FRGS research on historical building, heritage and tourism. I am also become a member on 3 others FRGS research related to nationhood studies and education policy, socio-culture and religion. In the meantime I am also a member on 3 other research groups. I am also teaching university core subject the Malaysian Nationhood Studies. I am also teaching other subjects such as Introduction to Nation Building, Malaysia Nation State, Malaysian Constitution, National Security Issues, History of the Modern World, Politics of the Muslim World, Propaganda and Persuasion in International relations and Nationalism and Conflict in International Affairs.
