Rose Shamsiah Samsudin holds a PhD awarded by the Universiti Teknologi MARA, Selangor, Accountancy, (since 2011). She is currently the Dean of Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy (TISSA-UUM), a post that she holds since January 2019. She held the post of Director of the Career Development Center at the Student Affairs Department at the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) from 2012 to 2015; Member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 2011; Senior Lecturer at the College of Business UUM (since 2008); Head of Audit Unit, Department of Audit and Information Systems at the School of Accountancy in UUM (2011-2012); Director of Institute for States and Local Government Accounting Research (IFSALGAR) at the Faculty of Accountancy UUM (2000 – 2001); Deputy Dean (Academic) at the Faculty of Accountancy UUM (1999 – 2000). She has a wide variety of courses taught in her field of study (Auditing, Forensic Accounting, Risks Management and Corporate Governance, and Public Sector Accounting). She has also made a few intellectual contributions and important participation by writing refereed articles, proceedings as well as non-referred proceedings. She has published four books on topics regarding, corporate integrity, public sector accounting, governmental Accounting and related themes. Since 2012, she is the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the annually held Seminar Kewangan dan Pengauditan Sektor Awam (SKPSA), a national level seminar hosted by the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy (TISSA-UUM) for public sector accountants and auditors.
