She is a Senior Lecturer of the School of Accountancy, College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM COB). She obtained her master’s degree (in Accounting & Finance) from the University of Wales, UK and her first degree (Accounting & Finance) from Purdue University, USA. She has been a certified member of The Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia (ICMA) since 2001. She has been teaching financial and management accounting courses at both undergraduate and master levels for more than 15 years. She specializes in teaching advanced and professional management accounting courses like project management, business operations, strategic management and advanced management accounting. She has also been using case-based teaching approach. Her research interest is in management accounting, performance measurement and control system, corporate social responsibility, strategic management, and leaderships.
