He was born in the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan, MALAYSIA in 1970. He has completed his first degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Mississippi State University, Starkville USA. Upon completing his bachelor degree he joined Universiti Utara Malaysia as a tutor and months later continued for a master degree (MBA) at Cardiff Business School, University of Wales, UK. Then he pursued for a doctoral degree in Business Administration at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. He has been promoted to an Associate Professor at College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia, in 2006. In 2010/2011, he was seconded and be the Deputy Dean for the Academic Affairs at the International College, University of Science and Technology (UST), Sanaa Yemen. His area of research interest includes Human Resource Management; Pay and Remuneration; Work and Career Motivation; and NGOs. He has supervised 15 completed PhD’s thesis and more than 25 master’s dissertations. He also has participated (as leader and member) to few researches and has published few books, monographs, journal articles as well as more than 110 articles/conference’s papers internationally and locally. In 2020, he was promoted to a full professor in HRM and assumed administrative responsibilities such Editor in Chief and member of editorial advisory board of Journal of Business and Social Review in Emerging Economies (ISSN Online: 2519-0329; ISSN Print: 2519-089X) by CSRC Pakistan (till present); Distinguished Research Fellow (IBCSI - till December 2021), Associate Distinguished Research Fellow (IPIZ - till present), and editorial member of few other university's journals (that include, Malaysian Management Journal - MMJ; Editorial Advisory Board for RAMS, SPCRD Global Publishing, 2020 – present; Editorial member: Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis (ISSRA) Mei 2019 – present. National Defense University, Islamabad, Pakistan and Editorial Board Member (Associate Editor – Management). International Journal of Economics and Management (IJEM), Universiti Putra Malaysia, UPM Press, 2020 – present. He is also an Ahli Lembaga Penasihat Program Diploma Pengurusan Sumber Manusia (MQA/FA/9630) Fakulti Peniagaan dan Pengurusan, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Terengganu, 2021 – present.
